Charity is a commandment. Charity is love. Without charity we are nothing. If we have charity we will not allow the laborers in Zion to perish. If the laborer in Zion works for money, he will perish.

Christ's charity is manifested in the fact that He does not refuse anyone who comes to him (33, 28) white, black, slave or free, make and female.We are all equal in his sight.

Also, he does nothing that is not clear to men (33)

Deep sleep

2:Ne 27:5

All those Who commit iniquity will be put in a deep sleep. Because they have closed their eyes and rejected the prophets and because of their iniquity, God has offuscated their governors.

Adam is also put in a deep sleep when Eve is created.

It seems that the deep sleep has to happen for something greater to take place ( Eve's creation and the coming forth of the Book of Mormon).
